BigBOSS is coming

Dark matter “turned on” 7 billion years ago…can anyone shed any light on this for us amateurs? In any case, a new experiment–BigBoss–to explore this topic…and map the universe with 10x the resolution of the Sloan Digital Sky survey…seems to be coming our way. I’ve been in the Mayall 4M telescope at Kitt Peak where this project will be housed, and I’ll dig up images when I can.
