We have updated your blogs to a new version of WordPress. WordPress has many handy tools for blogging. We’ve also updated the formatting so blog posts.

Features you will use often are at the top on the left column of the admin site of the blog.

• Posts – That’s what this blogging thing is all about. Post often and post to other blogs. An NDeRC blog administrator (Tom or Pat) can give you access to post to other blogs as well as your own. When writing a post, select the options in the lower right corner if you would like your post to show on another blog.
• Links – Add links that can be available on your blogroll in the sidebar.
• Pages – Add your own page. This page does not show in the blog, but can be linked to in the sidebar. Perhaps you would like some information to always be available to your readers.
• Comments – See and edit comments people post here.

Today is the last day of our summer research program. The Notre Dame QuarkNet Center staff and NDeRC staff and 12 graduate fellows hosted 22 teachers and 16 high school students working on 19 different areas of research for the past eight weeks. We had some help logistically with some new locations on campus in addition to our facility on Eddy Street and Project GRAND north of Douglas Road. Being spread out in so many venues, we appreciated Theresa’s journalistic efforts to inform us about all the things we were doing. You can read about some of the research projects here. Also, it made the symposium last Friday a really big event which was enjoyed by participants, mentors and student families.
