I watched the news this morning (WNDU), and saw an interesting story on ND LIGHTS (Notre Dame Laboratory Instruments Giving Hope to Students). This is a new university program that donates outdated lab equipment to local high schools. In the story, I believe I heard the spokesperson also say that it is their hope to develop training, protocols for the equipment in the classroom. I may be out of the loop here, but can someone tell me if NDeRC is connected to ND LIGHTS? And if not, could their be a potential collaboration? I provided the link to the story:

Michelle Joyce is the founder and program director. The program’s initial plan is to train teachers in the ACE program over the summer on use of the equipment with the hope of expanding to local schools as the program grows and more equipment is donated.
