Save GK-12 Email

I received the following email today.
John,
I’m writing to update you on the savegk12 website http://www.savegk12.org. It now includes information on writing to Congress; links to addresses for Senators and Representatives; key points about the GK-12 program; and sample letters for teachers, fellows, supporters, and administrators. I’d be grateful if you can share the web link with members of the Notre Dame GK-12 project and with anyone else who may support the effort to save the NSF GK-12 program. The GK-12 community can still make a difference by writing to Congress. This is the time to write because Congress is now considering the FY12 budget.
Sincerely,
Rich
P.S. I was the person who gave out the buttons at the annual GK-12 meeting last month. I’m writing to the 38 people who have signed up on the savegk12 website.

I then sent e-mails to Sen. Coats, Sen. Lugar, and Rep. Donnelly. The Save GK-12 website provided form letters to send. I included in my letter information about how New Prairie students discovered unhealthy levels to nitrates in their well water as the result of the program. I wonder if they will get that far into the letter. We’ll see.
